Richard Kline

TALLMADGE - Richard Scott Kline, 70, passed away May 3, 2016. He was born in Lakehurst, NJ and grew up in Tallmadge, graduating from Tallmadge High School in 1963. Richard earned an Associate's Degree in music from Ohio University. He served his country in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Enterprise during the Vietnam War. Richard retired from Seal Master in Kent after 25 years of service, also working as a freelance photographer. He was member of the American Legion Charles Faust Post 281. Richard was a great animal lover and will be remembered for his sense of humor.

Preceded in death by his parents, Loney L. and Marjorie; and sister, Carole; he is survived by his wife, Dorothy of 48 years; daughter, Cathy Kline; nieces and nephews, Frances Faye Carroll, Jennifer Yandell, Edwin McDonald and Donald Marek.

The family will be holding private services. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to The American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard, St. Alexandria, VA, 22311 or the American Legion, 1601 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221.
