CUYAHOGA FALLS - Richard Alden Moore left us and went into the loving arms of our savior Jesus Christ December 30, 2016.

Mr. Moore was born June 12, 1920 to Dick and Bessie Moore. He was a member of Star Lodge 187 for 65 years and was taught there to take care of the widows and orphans. He and his first wife Dorothy Brigeman Moore had 13 foster children they helped raise beside their two wonderful children of their own, John Alden (Karen) and Terry Lee and (Kenneth) Hines. He has eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He also leaves sister-in-law, Barbara Reihl-Dennis of Colorado and brother-in-law Bruce Brigeman (Martha) of Marblehead. After the death of his first wife Dorothy in 2001, he married his second wonderful wife, Lena Rinella Moore in 2003.

He was guardian for three widows. He was Chairman of Harrison County Food Bank and ran the Freeport, Ohio Food Bank for 15 years. He was a driver for Meals On Wheels at the same time. He was a volunteer at Falls General Hospital for 10 years. he was employed as a welder at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 26 years and was a 33 gallon blood donor.

The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Shanafelt and RN's Amy and Vanessa at Kindred Hospice at Home.

A Memorial Service will be conducted 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 14 in the Northminster Presbyterian Church 104 Portage Trail, Ext W, Cuyahoga Falls, Oh 44223 Rev. Stephanie Crossland officiating. Final resting place Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials May be made to Lakeland Lions, 218 E Muskingum St, Freeport, Ohio in his memory. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
