Richard Myers

Richard L. Myers, 64, passed away February 24, 2011. Mr. Myers was born in Northampton and resided in this area all of his life. Preceded in death by his parents, Ward and Doris; brother, George "Tootie"; he is survived by his wife of 28 years, Karen; children, Amy (Tim) Winkler of Akron, Rachel Hosterman (Roger) of Cuyahoga Falls, Laura Myers (Dave) of Akron; Kevin (Dene) Cunningham of Kent, Sean Jacobs of Akron, Trecia Romis (Dave) of Akron; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; brothers, Chuck (Barb), Dave (Jean) both of Newcomerstown; sisters, Halle Mullins of Newcomerstown, Donna (Earl) Richmond of Cuyahoga Falls; sisters-in-law, Roberta Myers of Clearmont, FL, Sheila (George) Grannis of Doylestown; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Bill and Cheryl, Jim Oberholtz, Bill C., Richard Sellars and Picway Bill and many more from Perrin Asphalt and from Windsor Pub and Third Base and his cat, Jeannie.

Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 pm Monday, Feb 28, in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 1 at 11 AM. Dr. Richard Hasler will be officiating. Interment Northampton Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the family, c/o Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
