Richard Shoults

Cuyahoga Falls- Richard Shoults, 91, passed away March 5, 2022. Born April 29, 1930, to the late Earle and Ruth Shoults. He was active all his life in sports, playing tennis, basketball, and golf. He was an active official in High School basketball for 22 years. After graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High, he joined the Navy and served in the Korean War. He worked most of his life in the glass field in the Akron Cleveland area retiring in 1997 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by his parents, beloved daughter, Carol Lynn; he is survived by his wife, Martha; son Gregory (Kay) Shoults, daughter, Susan (Rick) Haury, grandsons, Stephen (Claribel) and David Haury; nephew, Mark Garretson and nieces.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to a 6 PM memorial service on Thursday March 17, 2022 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Inurnment will be at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church 245 Portage Trail Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 or a Charity of your choice.
