Richard Starr

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Richard Dan Starr, age 85, passed away October 10, 2014 with his family at his side. Richard was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict and was a retiree of the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years.

Preceded in death by wife, Nancy (Stilwell) Starr; parents, Ray and Georgianna (Kingston) Starr and brothers, Jerry and David Starr; he is survived by daughter, Diane (Jim) Finklestein; step-son, Jeffrey Fisher; granddaughter, Kristen (Brad) Gaskins; grandson, Michael (Heather) Finklestein; precious great-grandson, Jameson Gaskins; brothers, Ed (Marty), Fred (Kay) and Tom (Jan); sisters, Sandra (Walt), Mary (Charlie - deceased), Susie (Dave) and Sarah (Harv).

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 19th at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Celebration of Life will be held immediately following at American Legion #175, 3733 Fishcreek Rd, Stow, OH 44224. In lieu of flowers, please donate to "Autism Speaks" or "Make A Wish".
