Rick Lee Jordan

Rick Lee Jordan born November 22, 1952, in Cuyahoga Falls to the late Sherry Snodgrass, nee Huff, and Cecil “Don” Jordan. Rick passed away December 5^th, 2023, peacefully at home with his loving wife of 34 years, Sharon, and his daughter Riki Lee Darke (Daniel) and son Patrick Jordan (Megan) always nearby. Rick is preceded in death by sister, Vickie Wood. He is survived by sisters Deborah Shaw (Don) and Pam Lester. He will also be missed by grandchildren Sophia, Audrey, Connor, Murphy, Delilah, Eleanor, and Miles, and stepsons Nicholas (Brenda) and Michael (Tara) and step grandchildren.

Rick was an electrician and employed and retired from The City of Akron. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War from 1972-1976 aboard the USS Conquest MSO-488. Rick enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and shooting pool. He enjoyed spending his time at and was a member of both the VFW Ralph Huff Post 1062 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2207 and will be missed by all his buddies.

Rick lived his life the way he wanted until he was no longer able. He then found new interests such as crockpot cooking, playing x-box, and watching Netflix. He especially enjoyed spending time with his wife Sharon, watching their shows and doing the daily coffee quiz.

Visitation hour will be held from 12:00pm-1:00pm on December 18^th, 2023, at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, followed by a memorial service at 2:15pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery where military rites will be conducted.
