Rita Bailey

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Rita M. Bailey, 94, passed away March 1, 2018. Rita was born in Chicago, IL, and graduated from Academy of Our Lady in 1941 before attending Bryant and Stratton to become a legal secretary. She was a long time resident of Cuyahoga Falls and a charter member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Rita was an avid bridge player and loved to read, knit, and crochet.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Thomas Bailey after 53 years of marriage and an infant grandson James A. Bailey, Jr; survived by children, Leo Jr. (Marci), Mary Anne (Jeff) Sidebotham, Ken (Kathy), and James; grandchildren, Heather (Adam) Snowberger, Melissa (Shawn) Brake, Jessica Bailey, Ian (Ashley) Bailey, and Andrew Bailey; great-granddaughter, Abigail Snowberger.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1905 Portage Tr., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44223. Friends may call one hour prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Father McIntyre Fund at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
