Rita (Sayers)

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Rita S. Stevic (Sayers) born December 5, 1955 passed away Sunday December 15, 2013 at her home in Cuyahoga Falls, surrounded by family. "Today is a day I'll never forget. The day she passed away. They said she had a least a few more months, but God decided today. We shared laughs. We shared cries. I wasn't ready to say goodbye. But now she is no longer in pain, and I have to remember, there's always a rainbow after the rain."

She is preceded in death by parents, Ralph Sayers, Wanda Sayers; sister, Elaine Hunnewell; brother-in-law Terry Chester and nephew Geoff Hunnewell, Jr. She is survived by sister, Beverly Chester; brother-in-law, Geoff Hunnewell, Sr.; husband, Raymond Stevic; sons, David Sayers, Donald Youngs, Jr.; daughter, Christina Youngs; step-daughter, Kaitlyn Stevic; grandchildren, Timothy, Annabelle, Stephanie and Stella; best friend, Sheila Davis and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, Rev. Jerry Justice officiating. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
