Robert Baker

Robert Edward Baker, 78, passed away November 14, 2013. He was born in Cleveland, OH and resided in Akron, previously in Sagamore Hills and Twinsburg. Robert was a custodian for Mayfield High School for 17 years, retiring in 1998.

Preceded in death by his parents Archie and Helen Baker and brother, Archie, he is survived by his daughter, Vicky of Akron; son, Edward (Baker) White of Gainesville, FL; and grandson, Riley Putt of Akron.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday November 16th 2013, at Rockynol Retirement Community, 1150 W. Market St., Akron, OH 44313, with Chaplain Diane Walker officiating. Final resting place Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the Rockynol Legacy Fund.
