Bob served his country proudly during WWII in the U.S. Coast Guard serving in both European and Asian theatres. He returned from the war to finish high school at Springfield High School and acquired a trade school diploma.

Bob worked 43 years for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., where he traveled the world extensively for the Project Engineering Dept. He later returned to some of his favorite assignment countries to vacation with wife Eloise.

Later he and Eloise retired and traveled the country in their recreational vehicle and eventually settled to spend their winters in North Ft. Myers for more than 25 years. There they made many friends from many locations. Bob loved to golf and spent several years working at Brandywine Golf Course in Peninsula.

A true friend to many and lived with the philosophy that any job, task or project worth doing was worth doing correctly. His struggles with health issues finally took him from us but his strength and spirit will remain with us always.

God Bless You Bob. Rest in peace our son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at later date.
