Robert James
CUYAHOGA FALLS - Robert E. James, 76, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his entire family after a brave battle with cancer.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #281 Cuyahoga Falls and had retired with 28 years of service at General Motors. Lean, Mean and always a Marine! Robert was preceded in death by his brother Bill James and sister Janice Rogler.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen of 57 years; children Robert E. James Jr.(Laura), Ann James Janka (Sam), Patty James Dudek, Maribeth James (Ben Brescia); grandchildren Jamie, Jeremy, Sara, Katie, Andrew, Elizabeth and Grace; great grandchildren Anna, Olivia and Lily.
Mass of Christian Burial, 11:30 am Thursday, September 29 at Mother of Sorrows Parish, 6034 S. Locust St., Peninsula, OH 44264. Friends may call Wednesday, 5 to 8 pm, September 28, in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
