Robert Jenkins

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Robert C. "Red" Jenkins, 58, passed away November 23, 2006 after a courageous fight with cancer. He was a very caring and generous man who touched the lives of everyone he met. "Red" was born in Cleveland and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls his entire life. He had worked as a truck driver out of Teamster's Local 24.
Preceded in death by his step-father, Richard Whitmyer, he is survived by his wife of 27 years, Nancy; sons, David Jenkins, Danny Jenkins, Jason (Sophy) Miklic, Robert Jenkins and Rick (Kim) Sabetta; daughter, Tracy Jenkins; 6 grandchildren; mother, Monica C. Whitmyer of Barberton; brothers, Walter Whitmyer of Akron and Dick Jenkins of Phoenix, AZ; sisters, Marybeth Whitmyer of Barberton and Amy (Dave) Ulichney of Norton; aunt, Rita (Arvin) Boyan; uncle, Jack (Diana) Whitmyer; very special cousin, Noreen Conti and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 9:00 pm Sunday and 6:00 to 9:00 pm Monday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 am Tuesday. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Hospice of VNS 3358 Ridgewood Road Akron, OH 44333-8118.
