Robert Johnson

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Robert F. Johnson, 91, passed away April 11, 2011. Mr. Johnson was born in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls since 1955. He had been a buyer in the Planning and Scheduling Dept. at B. F. Goodrich, retiring in 1986 and had previously been Treasurer for Blazon Toy Corp. He was a Veteran of WWII having served with the U. S. Air Force, had attended Pilgrim UCC (First Congregational Church) and was an avid bowler and golfer. He was a great gardener, had coached youth baseball and was a member of the Masons in Versailles, OH.

Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; son, Brian Hunter Johnson; parents, Francis and Lettie Johnson and sister, Wilma Coffield, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Candace and Rick Wehrmann of Hudson and grandchildren, Charles Mason (fiancAC.e Stacy Gere), Robert Mason and Kelly Brindle (Matt).

Cremation has taken place. The Family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, April 14 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. Final resting place Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Life Banc, 20600 Chagrin Blvd., Suite 350, Cleveland, OH 44122.
