Robert Kidd

CUYAHOGA FALLS- Robert E. Kidd, 81, died December 30, 2016. Robert was born in Akron to his parents Benjamin and Irene (Harris) Kidd. Bob was a retired police officer from Northampton Township and the Cuyahoga Falls Police Departments. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. His family will always remember his love of good food and desserts and his love of sports.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Josephine; children, Sheri (Barry) Gaidek, Robert "Bobby" Jr., Laura (Chris) Puhalla, John (Amanda) Kidd, sister Gladys Calhoun, grandchildren; Jacob, Justin, (Candi), Jenna, Joseph, Ashley, Zachary, (Starr), Preston, and Vivian. 5 great-grandsons.

Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 12 Noon, Tuesday January 3, 2017 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44223. Visitation will be Monday 5-8pm at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221.Interment Northampton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr. Ste. E, Uniontown, Ohio 44685. A special thank you to the home health aides, his "girls".
