Robert A. Kleckner, Sr, 57, passed away at his residence May 10, 2005 after a long brave battle with cancer. He was born in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls for 54 years, graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1966. He served in the U. S. Army in Vietnam and worked as a supervisor for Master Marking Co. He coached CFABA for many years and loved to bowl and golf with his family. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Kleckner, Sr. and is survived by his wife of 34 years, Rosalie; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Jr. and Tara; son, Richard and one granddaughter, Ashley, all of Cuyahoga Falls; mother, Frances Kleckner of Cuyahoga Falls; brothers, Kenneth E. (Jeanne) Kleckner Jr. of Cuyahoga Falls and Thomas N. (Karen) Kleckner of Tampa, FL and sisters, Deborah (James) Jones, Marsha (Charles) Gough and Linda (Howard) Kropff, all of Cuyahoga Falls.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:30 pm Friday, Dr. Richard A. Hasler officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. A military service will be conducted by American Legion Charles Faust Post 281.
