Robert L. Johnson

Robert L. Johnson, 98, lifelong resident of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024. Bob was born on October 1, 1926 in Cuyahoga Falls, one of six children of the late William and Josephine (Boeglin) Johnson. He was a 1944 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and was proud to remain a Black Tiger the rest of his life. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy, and went on to retire from Packaging Corp. of America with 41 years of service.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 75 years, Eunice Johnson; children, Kenneth R. Johnson, Sr., Adele Drugan, and Cheryl (Greg) McDevitt; 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and his brother Donald Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024 from 5-8 pm at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. He will be laid to rest privately with military honors at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
