Robert Mason

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Robert G. Mason, 43, passed away May 23, 2014 surrounded by his family after a long illness. The family would like to thank the staff of the Cleveland Clinic for their expertise and comfort.

Robert was born in Akron and grew up in Stow, graduating from Stow High School in 1989. He had worked for C & M Construction, the City of Hudson, CT Taylor and K & R Communications. Five years ago he received the gift of life in the form of a lung transplant and lived life to the fullest, after which he became an advocate for organ donation.

He is survived by his mother, Candace (Rick) Wehrmann of Hudson; father, Charles (Joan) Mason of Silver Lake; brother and sisters, Charles (Stacey) Mason, Cydne Mason, Michele, Brian and Shawn Cook. He also leaves an extensive list of family and friends.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday May 29 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls and one hour prior to an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service Friday May 30 in the United Presbyterian Church, 2819 Hudson Drive Cuyahoga Falls, Rev.
