Robert Miles

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Robert E. Miles, 81, died March 1, 2007. Mr. Miles was born in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of his life. He graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in Electrical Engineering and had worked as an electrical engineer for Westinghouse in Columbus. He was a member of Rockwell Springs Trout Club, loved to fish with his father, was an avid gardener, a huge Cleveland Indians fan and was a Veteran of WW2 having served with the Army Air Corps as a radio mechanic for the bomber squadron in Guam.
Preceded in death by his parents, Lucius C. and Alice L. Miles he is survived by several cousins. He was a devoted son and an extremely kind person.
Friends may call from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Friday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, Dr. Richard A. Hasler officiating. Interment Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
