CUYAHOGA FALLS - Robert "Bob" Moore, 82, passed away July 19, 2005 surrounded by his family.
Mr. Moore was born in Salamanca, NY and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls since 1942 moving there from Akron. He served in the US Navy during WWII in the Pacific on the U.S.S. Suwannee in the Pacific Theater. He worked for Goodyear Aerospace retiring with 44 years of service and was a member of American Legion, Charles Faust Post 281 and the V.F.W. Ralph Huff Post 1062.
Preceded in death by his brother Kermit B. Moore, he is survived by his wife of 27 years Verdean L. and children David (Jackie) Moore of Cuyahoga Falls, Starlett Lynn Jensen of N. Canton, James T. (Elizabeth) Moore of Dover, Harry (Marie) Ostapowicz of Akron and Don (Joyce Johnson) Ostapowicz of Copley; grandchildren, Brittany, Zeke, Eric, Kelly, Megan, Harry, Jr., Vincent, Lisa, Peter, Kevin and Jackson; great-grandchildren, Travis, Jocelyn and Regan; brother-in-law William H. Boyd and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls. Honor Services at the funeral home by American Legion Charles Faust Post 281. Final resting place Oakwood Cemetery. The family requests memorials to Hospice of Summa, P.O.
