Robert Stroble

STOW - Robert Warren Stroble (70), a devoted husband, father, papa, and friend died May 21, 2016 after living courageously with pancreatic cancer.
Bob was born in Greensburg, PA, the son of Warren and Dorothy Stroble. He spent his career working in retail and retired from Macy's.

Bob, also known as Neighbor Bob, was always available to offer a helping hand. He joyfully served God by working at his church, United Presbyterian Church in Cuyahoga Falls, volunteering at Joseph Badger Meadows Camp and Conference Center, and serving on a committee of Eastminster Presbytery. The few times that he wasn't working or volunteering, he could be found enjoying a good meal out or traveling.

Bob worked hardest for his family. He was married to the love of his life, Marilyn Stone Stroble and together they raised two children, Kristin and Kevin. Bob also leaves behind his beloved grandson, Lucas, who inherited his love of trains. He will also be missed by Isabel, Joshua, and Caroline Lewis, to whom he was known as Papa Bob.

Bob will be remembered for his humor, his compassion, his energy, and love. He would remind you to always eat dessert, to help someone in need, to serve and love God, and to cheer for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

A Service of Witness to the Resurrection will be on Saturday May 28 at 11:00am at United Presbyterian Church, 2819 Hudson Dr., Cuyahoga Falls OH 44221. Visitation will be at 10:00am on Saturday May 28 at the church. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to United Presbyterian Church. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
