CUYAHOGA FALLS -Robert R. Vanata, 81, passed away September 3, 2006. Mr. Vanata was born in Greenville, OH and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls for over 46 years. He had worked as a plumber out of Local 219, was a Veteran of WW2 and Korea having served with the U. S. Navy and was a member of BPOE 1923 and the American Legion Charles Faust Post 281.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth "Tish" and is survived by his daughters, Roberta Vanata of Cranford, NJ and Rebecca (Tim) Rightly of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Jennifer Sakey and Tony (Candace) Bloedorn and great-grandson Caden Sakey.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 7:00 pm Thursday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, Dr. Richard A. Hasler officiating and where an Elks service will also be conducted. The Family will greet friends for one hour prior to service time. Final resting place Abbotsville Cemetery.
