Robert Walters

Robert H. Walters, 81, passed away March 21, 2014. He was born in Decatur, Illinois and resided in Munroe Falls for the past 30 years, retiring from General Tire after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #2207, the Sons of the American Legion Charles Faust Post 281 and Acker-Moore Post 175. Mr. Walters enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Preceded in death by his first wife, Eileen L; he is survived by his wife, Sandy; sons, Robert H. Jr. of Lisle, Illinois and Donald (Stephanie) of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Brent, Alex, Nicholas and Kristen; and many nieces and nephews. The Family would like to express special thanks to the staff of Hospice of VNS for their loving care.

Friends may call from 1-3 and 6-8 pm on Monday March 24 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221, where a funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday March 25. Rev. Marvin Brown will be officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
