NORTH CANTON - Robert (Bob) Earl Wolf went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 21st, 2016. He was born September 12, 1927, the third of four sons of Raymond Thomas Wolf and Laura Leona Happoldt Wolf.
Bob was a World War II veteran, on October 1, 1950 Bob married Margaret Ann (Peg) Van Ness. She preceded him in death on December 17th, 2009. Together they raised four sons, Douglas (Donna), Kenneth (Dee), Steven (Melanie), and John (Diane) all whom survives him. Also surviving Bob are grandchildren Shawn Snyder, Laura Kugler, Justin Wolf, Joshua Wolf, Aaron Wolf, Stephanie Wolf and four great grandchildren.
Bob was also preceded in death by His parents, Brothers Russell, William (Bill), and David, two sisters in laws, Jesse (Pepper) Wolf and Marion Wolf and by his grandson Brandon Wolf.
Bob and his wife were leaders in the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America and they volunteered many hours with Moody Radio in Cleveland.
Bob worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber before retiring after 36 years of service. After that, he sold Real Estate with Cutler Realty to support mission projects around the world. Bob was a Christian in the truest meaning and lived it daily. Bob's love for God and Jesus shown in every aspect of his life. "Pastor Bob", was his unofficial title, due to the way he lived his life.
Bob was also very active in the Gideons International, Lions Clubs of America, and always enjoyed serving wherever he could, even into his mid 80's. He will be missed by all, but mostly by his children, grand and great grandchildren, whom he loved and cherished deeply.
Friends may call from 6-8 PM on Thursday Feb. 25, 2016 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221, where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday Feb. 26. Pastor Mark O'Donnell and Pastor Andrew McClung will be officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Preferred memorials are: The Gideons International, P.O.
