Robert "Bob" Wyskocil died on May 22, 2017 in Akron, OH at the age of 86.
He is survived by his loving companion of 23 years, Jeanne Wertman of North Canton, his children, Mary East of Edgewood, MD, Laura (Duane) Fletcher of Pataskala, OH and Robert (Stephanie) Wyskocil of Cuyahoga Falls, seven grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Eugene and Richard.
Bob was born on Oct 9, 1930 in Bedford, OH to Frank Wyskocil and Augusta Bodhaine. He graduated from Maple Heights High School in 1948 and The University of Akron University in 1970. Bob worked for Goodyear Aerospace from 1956 to 1989. After retirement, Bob enjoyed monthly meetings with many of his colleagues at the Third Wednesday Breakfast Group.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Akron General 7100 nursing staff and The Visiting Nurse Hospice Center for their kind and loving care.
The family will hold a private memorial. Remembrances can be made to The ALS Association. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
