Roberta Berie

CUYAHOGA FALLS- Roberta Irene Berie, 75, passed away March 5, 2011. She was born in Clyde, OH and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 41 years. She and her husband owned and operated Rittman Berie Insurance Agency and were members of Bethany United Church of Christ, where she was a member of the choir.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert; and is survived by her Daughter Laura Berie and son Robin Berie both of Cuyahoga Falls; grandson Jaren Barnett of Cuyahoga Falls; Sisters Jacqueline (Robert) Bauer of Toledo, Geraldine (John) Hill of Port Clinton, Patricia (Robert) Gill of Clyde, Oh, Carolyn (Harry) Plottner of Brookhaven, Mississippi, Janet Riekenberg of Bozeman, Montana; brother, Harold (Pat) Mesnard of Flagler Beach, Florida; sister-in-law, Carol Sue (Dale) Whitt of Bowling Green, Barbara (Carl) Pocock of Bellevue, OH and Nancy Jane (Jack) Rectenwald of Troy, OH; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday March 8, 2011 at the Bethany United Church of Christ 1235 Broad Blvd. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. Rev. Stephen Gehlert will be officiating. In Lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the Ardmore Foundation 981 E. Market St. Akron, OH 44305 or the Bethany United Church of Christ.
