Rollin R. Reth

Cuyahoga Falls- Rollin R. Reth, 72, passed away March 7, 2022. He was born in Akron and resided in Ravenna for the past 22 years. Rollie was a 1967 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. He was a member of the Army 147th Hillclimbers serving two tours in Vietnam.  Rollie was a proud union member of Heat and Frost Insulators Local 84. He dedicated his life to taking care of his family especially his beloved wife, Mary. Rollie loved his friends like family and never met a stranger. He enjoyed tending to his beautiful roses.

Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Wilma Reth and brother, Andrew Reth; He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary; daughters, Tonya (Adam) LaFaber and Monica (Kevin) Streby; grandchildren, Marissa, Mackenzie (Tim), Kylie, Delaney, Sydney and A.J.; great-granddaughters, Aubrey and Skylar; sister, Darla Reth and several nieces and nephews.

A private interment will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  A celebration of life will be held at 5 PM on Tuesday March 15, 2022 at the Italian American Citizens Club 1521 9th St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Make a Wish Foundation and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
