Ronald Makebakken

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Ronald H. Makebakken, 76, passed away August 19, 2012 surrounded by his family.

Mr. Makebakken was born in Akron, Ohio, graduated from Central High School, served 8 years in the Navy Reserves and has resided in Cuyahoga Falls for over 50 years. He was a self employed painter and wall paper hanger and attended the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Harold Makebakken, he is survived by his wife Joy; children, Edward (Mary) of Stow, Brian (Jamie) of Cuyahoga Falls and Kay (David) Baughman of Ellet; grandchildren, Cody, Kayla, Macie, Josie, Melissa and Samantha and many friends.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday August 23 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 24, Rev. Katie Osier officiating. Final resting place will be Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
