Rose Coldwell

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Rose "Marie "Dotttie" Coldwell, 85, passed away February 5, 2016. She was born in Detroit resided in Cuyahoga Falls for 44 years and spent the last 9 years at Stow Glen Retirement Village. Dottie was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where she served on the CCD. She was also a member of the Lincoln PTA, the Cuyahoga Falls Women's Club, the VFW Charles Faust Post 1062, the Elks Lodge 1923, the Cuyahoga Falls Bridge and Poker Club and Ladies Aux., the Pulaski Sisters and she volunteered at the voting booths for many years. Dottie loved reading, bingo, volunteering, family vacations and making people happy. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gordon; sister-in-law, Barbara Schore; she is survived by her children, William (Patricia), John (Teresa), Nancy (Curt) Bohon, Claudia (Rick) Duhan and Mary (Jim) Coldwell-Durnas; brother-in-law Joe Schore; sister-in-law, Gwen (Dick) Bowlby grandchildren, Vanessa, Jessica, Brian, Samantha, Vincent, Katie, John Michael, Alexandria, Meaghan, Elizabeth, Robert and Eric; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Eloise, Ela, Samuel, Myles and Ava;

Memorial calling will be held from 5-7 PM on Wednesday February 10, 2016 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221, where a memorial service will be held at later date. Inurnment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to Stow Glen Retirement Village 4285 Kent Rd.
