Silver Lake - Rose Marie "Dolly" Rubel nee Comunale, 93, passed away April 29, 2010.
Mrs. Rubel was born in Bangor, Pennsylvania and had resided most of her life in North Akron. She was a graduate of East High School and Hammel Actual College. She had worked for O'Neils and Shoppers Fair and was a member of the American Business Women's Association.
Preceded in death by her husband, of 59 years John O; son, "Jackie" John Jr.; brothers Frank (Gertrude) and Leonard (Madeline); brother-in-law Floyd Tubbs and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bud and Marge Rubel. She is survived by her daughter, Jill (Richard) Childers of Silver Lake; grandchildren, Corey, Ashley and Jonathan; sister, Mary Lou Tubbs and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 2nd in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 3rd in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 83 Mosser Place, Akron, Fr. James Ragnoni officiating. Final resting place will be Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Stephen A. Comunale, Jr. Family Cancer Foundation, PO Box 13805, Akron, OH 44333 in her memory.
