CUYAHOGA FALLS – Rosemary Holland, 80, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away peacefully on November 6, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 30, 1941, in Akron, Ohio to Michael and Mary Pappano.
Rosemary graduated from St. Vincent’s High School in 1959. She married Bill Holland on August 19, 1961. Rosemary lived and worked in Cuyahoga Falls for most of her life. After raising her children, she became an LPN. Rosemary enjoyed working in her garden, tending to her flowers, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a prayerful woman often saying the Rosary and praying for people on her prayer list. When visiting “Grandma Rosie,” you would surely be served your favorite cookie and a can of Vernor’s Ginger Ale. Her pizzelles, fried chicken and pastina will never be duplicated.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Patricia Pappano, Joan Matthews, Ann Snively, and brother, Michael Pappano.
Rosemary is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bill; daughters, Lisa Holland, Lynette Adkins, LeeAnn (John) Chiarappa; son, Bill (Amanda) Holland Jr.; granddaughters, Melissa Prietz, Jennifer Chiarappa, Alyssa (Jake) Ray, and Kaitlin Holland; grandsons, Ryan (Sarah) Adkins and Will Holland, and, great grandson, Carter Ray. She will be missed by all her relatives, friends and especially her loyal companion, Laci.
