Ruth Hostetler

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Ruth N. Hostetler, 91, passed away March 14, 2016. She will be missed by many. Ruth was a founding member of Bailey Road Christian Church in Cuyahoga Falls. She touched the lives of countless young people through her Sunday School classes and organizing the Youth Group activities. She was very active in CWF, Feed My Sheep and "Charlie's Angels".

Born in Akron, Ohio, Ruth graduated from North High in 1942. Her working career spanned more than 37 years with Ohio Bell where she made several lasting friendships with her co-workers. Ruth was an avid photographer and loved to travel with family and friends. Small creatures, especially dogs and cats brought much joy to Ruth throughout her life.

Ruth is survived by nephews David (Karen) of RHE, California, and Robert of Elyria, Ohio; niece Karen (Tammy Jirmasek) of Sunbury, Ohio; great nephew Jacob (Gwen) and great niece Nicole.

Calling hours will be Friday, March 18th from 4-7 PM in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St, where her funeral will be held at 11 AM Saturday March 19th, Pastor Tim Brown officiation.
