Ruth Gohs

HUDSON-The death of a mother is the first sorrow wept without her.

On April 22, 2018, Ruth Karin Gieseler Gohs passed peacefully in her 85th year. Surrounded by Nature, Love, Light and her family, Ruth left this life to join her beloved husband Rudy, the love of her life, favorite dancing partner and eternal soulmate.

Born in Amalienhof, Germany on September 4, 1932, Ruth was above all else a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She leaves to honor the amazing woman she was her children Monica Lindholm (Allen), Hans Gohs (Charlene), Suzanne Chapman (Bruce); grandchildren, Paul, Sonny, Ryan, Hans Jr., Geoff, Ellen and Andrea; great-grandchildren, Summer, Colton, Mason and Adelyn.

Beautiful blooms from our hearts to yours sweet mom. Let that which comes from this magical planet whisper to us that unconditional love surrounds, fills and heals us. Keep us under your wings Mother, Best Friend, Beautiful Angel. With our deepest gratitude to the brilliant light you are.

Visitation will be from 4-7 PM on Thursday April 26, 2018 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A funeral service will be held 10 AM on Friday April 27 at the Zion Lutheran Church 139 S. High St. Akron, OH 44308. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of remembrances memorials may be made to the Falls Cancer Club Inc. P.O. Box 3244 Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
