Ruth Schnabel

STOW -Ruth Low Schnabel died peacefully July 31, 2009. She spread joy and love for all of her 91 years. Ruth was born in Cincinnati, had resided in Stow since 1985 moving there from Cuyahoga Falls and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1936. She had worked in shipping and receiving for McNeil-Femco and had previously worked for Falls Engineering. She was a member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ and had volunteered at Good Neighbors.

Preceded in death by her husband, Dale, she is survived by her daughters, Marianne Hannum and Judi (Larry) Horn, both of Kent; grandchildren, Kara (Damon) Lewis and Travis (Jade) Horn; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Reed, Cooper and Laine Lewis and Emma Horn and friends of the family, Patricia Hannum and Larry Hannum.
The family thanks and praises the people of Active Life Care of Hudson for the joy and comfort they provided.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 6:30 pm Tuesday, August 4 in Pilgrim United Church of Christ 130 Broad Blvd. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Rev. Kirk Bruce officiating. At her request, we will celebrate her life with lots of laughter and happy memories. Private interment will take place in Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to her church in her memory.
