Ruth joined her loved ones in heaven on December 15, 2010. Her husband, Paul; daughter, Verna Klauenberg; parents, Sarah and Clarence Thompson and sister, Frances Thompson are rejoicing with her in heaven.
Ruth is survived by her step-daughter, Bonnie Shultz; daughter, Judith B. Tisdale Hurley; 7 grandchildren, David (Marianne) Tisdale of Niles, Thomas (Deb) Tisdale of Clinton, Brenda (Stan) Ptak of Brimfield, Doug Enos of Akron, Beverly Tisdale of South Carolina, and Mark (Carol) Tisdale of Georgia, Sue (David) Reyes of Maryland; 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Ruth was born on December 1, 1914 and was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls. She was an avid bowler, and friend to many who brought laughter and love everywhere she traveled.
Funeral Service will be at 4:00 pm Sunday Dec. 19th in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls. Guests will be received one hour prior to the service.
Special thanks are given to Dr. Dennis Bentley, Harbor Light Hospice and Brenda Ptak and family, who provided a loving home and care for grandma at life's end.
