Ruth Williams

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Ruth Esther Williams, 90, passed away August 9, 2016. She was a life-long area resident. She was born in Akron, Ohio to Chalmers and Ferne (Strole) Beward. She was a long time member of Grandview United Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, C.E.; sisters Pauline, Betty and Charlotte; she is survived by her sons, Robert (Pam) and Carl (Gayle); daughter Beverley Williams; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The family would like to express their gratitude for the compassion and care from the staff at National Church Residences.

Friends may call one hour prior to the 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service, Monday August 15 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls, Rev. Nathan Wells officiating. Final resting place Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to National Church Residences, 300 E. Bath Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
