Ruth Yenicky

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Ruth Mae Yenicky, 89, passed away December 4, 2010. Mrs. Yenicky was born in Litchfield , OH and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of her life. She retired as a sales clerk for Sears Roebuck in 1983 with 14 years service, was a member of the VFW Ralph Huff Post 1062 Aux, had volunteered at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital for many years, worked at the voting booth in Cuyahoga Falls and enjoyed crocheting. She was a loving mother and grandmother, loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was very much loved by her family.

Preceded in death by her husband, Peter J. and daughter, Deanna Mae Fohner, she is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Dale Grayem of Uniontown and Margaret and Alan Mitchell of Akron; grandchildren, John (Mary Jo) Fohner, Alan (Jill) Fohner, Barry (Tammy) Silvey and Megan (Alan) Thornburg and 8 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, Dec. 7 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 am Wednesday, Dec. 8, Rev. Mark Hadinger officiating. Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens . Arrangements handled by Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
