Samuel Base

Samuel L. Base, 82, died February 27, 2005. Mr. Base was born in Akron where he had resided his entire life. He retired in 1982 from B. F. Goodrich as a Chemical Engineer, was a member of First Church of the Brethren and was a Veteran of WW2 having served with the U. S. Navy. He was a member of Portage Lakes Lodge F&AM and enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alene D. and is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David and Ann of Cuyahoga Falls; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Ken Stephen of Massillon and grandchildren, Jason (Dawn) Stephen and Amanda and Andrew Base.
The Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, Pastor Jim Abe officiating.
