Sarah Jean Amadio

Stow – Sarah (Sally), 97, passed away Monday evening, February 3, 2025. She was a resident of Cardinal Village for ten years and more recently of Eden Vista in Stow. She was an active member of the Akron Christian Reformed Church for many years and was instrumental in exposing her family to a life of faith in God. She also attended the Stow Methodist church for several years later in life.

 She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Thomas (Tom), two sisters, Marjorie and Suzanne, and many beloved brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

 She will be missed by her daughter Mary (Tom) Laskowski; son John (Janet) Amadio; grandchildren Meggan (Daniel) Peak, Rebecca (Craig) Flack, Emily (Adam) Schroeder, Ruth Amadio, and Rachel Amadio; great-grandchildren Elsie, Lincoln, James, David, Ryan, and Felicity; and a host of nieces and nephews.

 In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the Akron Christian Reformed Church food pantry ministry (note “Landing” on the memo line) at 50 Marshall Ave., Akron, OH, 44303.
