Sean Longville, 33, passed away on October 15, 2021.
Sean was born January 29, 1988 to parents Joseph Longville and Jan Poda. Sean spent his life in Akron, Ohio and was a 2006 graduate of Coventry High School. Sean developed a career as a welder and perfected his trade in fabrication. Sean married his wife Ashley in June of 2015.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert Sr. and Mary Longville; Janette and William Bridge; and cousin Randall Heckard.
Sean is survived by his wife, Ashley; daughters Jade and Addisyn; his beloved K-9s Bella and Tilla; parents Joseph Longville and Jan (Jeff) Poda. In addition, Sean leaves behind his sister, Sarah and the Yaceczko family (Janich), and their children Shae and Gabriel; his stepbrothers Matt Poda (Angela) and Andy Poda (Alyse); his in-laws Dan and Helen Cochran, brother in-law Matt Cochran (Angela) and his nephew Jase. Along with his immediate family, Sean is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Besides spending time with his daughters, Sean loved basketball, playing video games, and cheering on the Cleveland Browns. Sean was known for his love of animals and advocating for animal rights. Sean was also a member of The Lighthouse Church in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
There will be an open visitation at the Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street Cuyahoga Falls, OH, on October 20, 2021 from 10am to 11am. Immediately after the visitation, there will be a funeral service led by Pastor Cary Wadle. For those wishing to attend, Sean will be laid to rest at Northlawn Memorial Gardens (4724 State Road, Peninsula, OH) at 1 pm and may drive on their own to the burial site.
In lieu of other remembrances, monetary donations may be made to The Humane Society of Summit County .
