Shirley Daugherty

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Shirley A. Daugherty, 72, passed away February 23, 2009. Mrs. Daugherty was born in Clarkesburg, WV and had resided in the Cuyahoga Falls area most of her life. She had been a tollbooth attendant for the Ohio Turnpike Commission at the Route 8 exchange for 25 years.

Preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Clara Lantz and sister-in-law, Joanne Lantz, she is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, John and Beth of Stow and Lee and Liz of Vallejo, CA; grandchildren, Erin, Michael, Laura, James and Matthew and brothers and sister, Fred Lantz of Kent, Wilfred (Marge) Lantz of Stow, Robert (Wilma) Lantz of St. Cloud, FL and Charlotte "Belle" (Vince) DeCapito of Kent and many nieces and nephews and loving friends and neighbors including devoted friend, Patty Combs.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 7:00 pm Thursday, Timothy Haluga officiating.
