Shirley Phillips

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Shirley Ann Phillips 80, passed away October 10, 2013 surrounded by her family.

Shirley was born in Akron and graduated from Central High School and had worked at US Gasket and Shim for 22 years and later at Logan Machine. She will be remembered for her lively sense of humor, her passion for animals and strong love and devotion to her family.

Preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Grace Phillips, brother, Harley and great-nephew Devlin. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Dana) Thompson of Tallmadge; grandchildren, Tyler and Justin; brother, Fred (Grace) Phillips; sister, Sandi (Tom) Maloney; beloved niece Denice (Russ) Gochneaur; grand-nephews, Ryan and Austin.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 13 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls. A Private Graveside Service will be held Monday October 14 at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society, 7996 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, OH 44087.
