Shirley Jacqueline Postal, 81, achieved Eternal Life Wednesday, July 16, 2014, surrounded by those most dear to her.
Shirley was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on August 27, 1932 to Millard and Mollie Stephens.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; husband, William Conzer; son, Clark Postal; and sister, Connie Sweeney. Shirley is survived by son, Craig of Akron; daughter, Carla (Jim) Kraus of Bath; grandchildren, Rachel (Jarrod) Criss, Aaron (Caitlin) Kraus, Leah Kraus, and Hannah Kraus; great grandson, Jacob Criss; twin brothers, Reece (Cookie) of Stow, and Reed of Atlanta, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Shirley loved gardening, football season, Jeopardy, and playing euchre, but most especially, she loved spoiling her grandchildren (each of whom was her favorite). Shirley's life work was caring for others and she sincerely enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30pm on Sunday July 27, 2014 at First Congregational Church, 292 East Market Street, Akron, 44308, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Cremation has taken place.
