Silvester Schultz lost one of the hardest battles of his life on January 14, 2015 to Alzheimer's at age 87. Born in Czechoslovakia, he came to America in 1952 and lived in Akron the rest of his life. A cabinet maker by trade, Silvester retired from Prospect Mold at age 66. He had many innovative ideas and enjoyed designing furniture, music, dancing, camping and fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Lotte Schultz; daughters, Nancy Schultz, Kathy Wetzel, and Janet Fankhouser; grandsons, Christopher Harris, Brandon (Emily) Wetzel, Aaron (Krystal) Harris and Benjamin Wetzel; 5 great-grandchildren and many special family members. A special "Thanks" to his best friend, Werner Wolff. The family would like to express a warm "Thank You" to the people at Maison Aine in Stow and Crossroads Hospice. Their compassion and care made all the difference in the world.
Friends may call 1 hour prior to an 11 AM funeral service on Monday January 19 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
