Stacey Ashton

Cuyahoga Falls-Beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Stacey Lyn Ashton, 49 years of age, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 21, 2014. A life-long resident of Cuyahoga Falls, she attended Cuyahoga Falls City Schools and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1983.
She was employed for 19 years at Aetna Health Care until they closed their Fairlawn office. She was currently employed by Akron Children's Hospital in the Authorization and Registration Department.
Stacey loved to cook and bake and entertain her many friends at small gatherings in her home. She loved holiday dinners with family and decorated her home for all holidays, inside and out.
She was preceded in death by her infant brother, Scott Thomas Ashton. Left to mourn her passing are her parents Larry T. and Marilyn B. Ashton; brother and sister-in-law, Charles J. and Susan L. Ashton; sister and brother-in-law, Tari S. and Douglas D. Deiss; beloved nephew and niece Camron and Adali Deiss; special cousin Belinda J. Kelly and life partner Allan L. Disantis, as well as her many friends at Akron Children's Hospital.
Calling hours will be held Friday, September 26, from 6 to 8 pm. at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. Cremation has taken place. Interment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park where private services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Redeemer Lutheran Church and School, 2141 Fifth St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home & Crematory, 330-928-2147.
