CUYAHOGA FALLS - Stanley G. Nichols, 90, passed away July 24, 2010.
Mr. Nichols was born in Scotch Hill, PA and has been a resident of Cuyahoga Falls for over 60 years. He served in the 3rd Army Tank Battalion, 4th Armored Division during WWII. He worked as a tool and die setter for the Ford Motor Company and was a member of the Church In The Falls.
Preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Marian; brothers, Earl, Leroy, Kenneth, Ralph and sister Sara Jane, he is survived by his children Richard Nichols and Carolyn Holder both of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Aaron Haas, Nathan Haas and Chris Holder and sister, Doris Gordon.
Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday July 29 in the Church In The Falls, 837 Chestnut Blvd, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Mark Brazle officiating. Interment in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to his Church. Arrangements handled by Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
