Stella French

Stella Grace French, 89, passed away February 26, 2007. Mrs. French was born in Akron, graduated from Akron Central High School and was a longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls. She had worked in food service for Kent State University and was an active member of Chapel Hill Christian Missionary Alliance where she had been a deaconess and a member of the Ambassador's Class.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert and is survived by her children, Virginia (Tom) Stauffer of Tallmadge, Michael (Debbie) French and Gary French both of Cuyahoga Falls, Bradley French of Tallmadge and Sidney French of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Kathy Duffey, David Duffey, Michael (Cindy) French, Dan French, Kimberlee French, Terri (John) Berry, April (Reed) Earnest, Stacy (Jeff) Haag and Steve (Anji) Stauffer; 11 great-grandchildren and sister, Vera H. Cross of Munroe Falls.
The Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 am Thursday, Rev. Jon Stoltzfus and Rev. Bob Smith officiating. Friends may also call beginning at 9:00 am Thursday. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery.
