Stella Swiger

NORTON - Stella H. Swiger, 86, passed away October 29, 2010. Mrs. Swiger was born in Taos, NM and had resided in Norton for over 40 years. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and enjoyed her summer vacations in Taos, NM.

Preceded in death by her husband, Loran C.; she is survived by her sons, Edward (Nancy) Swiger of Portage Lakes and Larry Swiger and fiancAC., Margie Sikora of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Wendy (Bob) Fluarty of Norton, Rick (Debbie) Swiger of Barberton, Edward (Jenny) Swiger of Barberton, Matthew Swiger, Lauren Swiger and Nina Swiger, all of Cleveland; 15 great-grandchildren and sisters and brothers, Rosie LaPort, Lorenza Tafoya, Richard Tafoya, Edward Lalo Tafoya, Vera Vigil and Molly Salazar, all of Taos, NM.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, November 1, 2010 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be in the Holy Family Catholic Church at 12:00 NOON, November 2, 2010. Interment Rose Hill Burial Park.
