Stephen Johnson

CUYAHOGA FALLS – Stephen L. Johnson, 55, passed away on October 13th at 11:58 pm with Jeanine and Dustin by his side.

After a year and a half long battle with lung cancer, he fought the good fight, now is finally able to rest peacefully. A loving family man, Steve worked passionately in life to guarantee that his family would be able to live their lives comfortably through his incredible work as a Union Carpenter. He often received awards and high praise for his work. He was an avid fisherman and a beacon of good times, with his best friends, Jon Nitzsche and Tim Brown, amongst others.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; stepfather, Bill; brother-in-law, Rick; nephew, Brian, and niece Brianna. He is survived by his mother, Hansi; his sister, Eileen Ferrante (Peter); his wife of 17 years, Jeanine; his son, Dustin; and many other amazing family members and friends. Steve was an amazing man, whose love will stretch on throughout our lives. We miss him dearly.
