Stephen Ladich

Stephen Ladich was born on December 3, 1936 and passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on January 13, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Linda (nee Sigmund); daughters, Karen, Debbie (Kevin), and Rebecca; sons, Gregory (Deniele) and Rick (Jennifer); 12 grandchildren, Tiffany, Sara, Chelsea, Amanda, Zackary, Cody, Alyssa, Julia, Cecilia, Emily, Conner and Cameron; 5 great-grandchildren, Jack, Marley, Mia, Cooper, and Lincoln; brother-in-law, Attila Nagy and sister-in-law, Connie Ladich.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Steve Ladich; brother, Joseph Ladich; and sister, Linda Nagy.

Stephen served in the Army and the Army National Guard, worked at St. Thomas Hospital with the Nuns and retired from Lordstown General Motors. In his final years, he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, watching Antiques Roadshow, watching his beloved Ohio sports teams (even the Browns). He also enjoyed going out to eat, reading the newspaper, collecting yearbooks, playing the lottery, having "not so friendly" conversations about politics, and handing out $50 bills to whoever was in the right place at the right time.

His catch phrases included, "Only the shadow knows," "Mark my words, there's going to be trouble," "Hey bebopper," "Is everyone still working?," "Does anyone need any money?," and "Be good baby, stay out of trouble."

A private family service will be held and there will be no calling hours.
