Steven Filon

CUYAHOGA FALLS Steven Filon, 40, passed away on October 6, 2013. He was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of his life graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1991. Steven served his country in the U.S. Army.

Preceded in death by his father, Stanley; he is survived by his daughter, Taylor; mother, Mary Ann; siblings, Paul, Peter (Suzanne), Mary Elizabeth Prokopius (Dr. Ron), Susan Brooks (Howard), John (Mary Beth), Thomas (Miranda) and James (fiancAC., Ann Marie); aunts Susie Littlejohn (David) and Sheila Beck (Tom); uncles Raymond Filon (Martha), John Markulis and many nieces and nephews. The Family would like to express special thanks to Sherri, Angela, Dan, Pam, Don, Scott M. and Colleen.

Friends may call from 4-7 PM on Friday, October 11 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 12 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1761 2nd St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Fr. McCarthy will be officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. The American Legion Charles Faust Post 281 will give military honors. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society 6155 Rockside Rd. Suite 202 Independence, OH, 44131 or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
